International Retail Collection Team Leader
Your role
As an International Retail Collection Team Leader, you will have group-level responsibility for coordinating, managing, and continuously developing retail and MSE collection activities across multiple entities. You will play a key role in defining strategy, ensuring operational excellence, and leading a high-performing professional team in an international banking environment. You will be responsible for the professional leadership and people management of a 6-member team of country responsible advisors, including performance management, capability development, coordination of country-level activities, and day-to-day operational guidance.

GROUP-LEVEL RESPONSIBILITY
- Group-level coordination, task execution, management, and decision-making responsibility
PROFESSIONAL TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinate the professional management of foreign retail and MSE loan portfolios requiring mass handling.
- Develop and implement group-level collection strategies; monitor execution and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Oversee and continuously improve the end-to-end debt collection process at group level.
- Maintain and develop strong professional relationships with relevant banking organizational units and group entities.
- Initiate the development of bank- and group-level professional policies, methodologies, and guidelines; provide expert review of materials.
- Define group-level collection standards, manage deviations, and coordinate corrective and development actions.
- Coordinate, manage, and monitor IT developments supporting group-level collection activities.
- Supervise and support process improvements, operational programs, and collection campaigns.
- Promote innovation within group-level collection activities and actively share best practices across the banking group.
- Prepare decision-support and recommendation materials for relevant management committees.
- Act as a substitute for the direct manager when required.
- Mentor, coach, and train colleagues; actively support professional knowledge sharing.
- Lead cross-functional development projects and working groups.
MANAGEMENT TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Taking responsibility for the decisions, strategy, performance, delivery efficiency, and professional development of the organizational unit under their management, and representing the unit in cooperation with relevant banking counterpart areas in line with its function and role
- Prioritizing activities within the managed organizational unit in line with strategic objectives, performing strategic resource planning, and ensuring optimal resource allocation
- Organizing, coordinating, professionally supervising, and ensuring quality assurance of professional activities
- Providing professional and methodological guidance to employees
- Supporting employee development and approving training and development plans
- Developing and evaluating employee performance and ensuring continuous feedback
- Taking responsibility for the development and implementation of the action plan related to employee engagement surveys
You are welcome to apply if you have
- University degree in Economics, Law, or a related field.
- Advanced English proficiency, with the ability to lead meetings, negotiations, and professional discussions in an international environment.
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in a multinational environment, preferably within banking, financial services, or collections.
- At least 2 years of people management experience, including performance management and team development.
- Solid understanding of retail and/or MSE lending and collection processes.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to cooperate effectively across organizational and cultural boundaries.
- Proven experience in preparing presentations, reports, and decision-support materials for senior management.
- Willingness to travel occasionally to OTP subsidiary banks for planned, short-term business trips.
- Confident leadership style combined with a proactive, collaborative approach.

- Familiarity with regulatory and compliance expectations related to retail collections.
