Solution Architect

To develop further the corporate lending processes of OTP Group (12 countries) and to strengthen its digital strategy, OTP Bank is introducing a new lending workflow management system among its international group members, that promotes the harmonization and modernization of the lending processes, better decision making and improved transparency across OTP's foreign subsidiaries.

To complete this task, we are looking for an experienced English-speaking Solution Architect who is open to learning and using new technologies and who wants to participate in new system implementations as part of a diverse international team.

This is a unique opportunity for applicants with the ambition to work and develop professionally in the field of IT in the headquarters of a banking group in Hungary.

Assignments/Tasks:
•    Work together with OTP Group’s corporate lending business- and risk experts, understand their requirements and the technical constraints.
•    Actively participate in the assessment of the system support of the current corporate lending processes in each subsidiary and in the further development of the solution.
•    Participate in the assessment of existing architectures, application environments, interfaces, technical communication matrices at the bank's international subsidiaries.
•    Prepare IT solution architecture design in line with business and risk requirements, considering the bank's group-level enterprise architecture requirements.
•    Participation in architecture expert discussions, preparation and approval of subsidiaries’ IT solution plans to ensure that the future solution can integrate with existing systems and platforms.
•    Create and maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, process flows, technical specifications.
•    Governance and quality assurance of the proposed solution throughout the implementation phase.
•    Extensive knowledge of IT software solutions, development platforms and technologies
•    Work closely with development teams to ensure that the solutions implemented are in line with the agreed-upon architecture and design principles.
•    Cooperate with Enterprise, Data, Infrastructure and Cloud architects at OTP subsidiaries, as well as with technology experts of the international suppliers.

We are looking for an applicant with:
•    Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience
•    At least 5 years of professional experience in solution architecture design
•    Experience designing and implementing complex software solutions
•    Knowledge of systems integration technologies, application server environments, SOA concept, API design
•    Methodical, rational, good analytical skills and logical thinking
•    Creative, team player personality
•    Good communication skills, proactive
•    Speak the language of business, be able to design business defined processes into systems
•    Strong time-management and organizational skills
•    Confident, active knowledge of English

It is further advantage if the applicant has: 
•    lending domain design experience
•    experience in designing workflow systems, including integrations
•    TOGAF or BIAN knowledge
•    general knowledge of virtualization platforms
•    general knowledge of operating systems
•    general knowledge of database managers (Oracle Db, MS SQL, PostgreSQL, NoSQL)
•    Software engineering/Software architect experience
•    Basic licensing knowledge or experience
•    Knowledge of requirements in multi-tenant environments, complex and systems thinking
•    Knowledge of cloud platforms and architectures
