OTP EcoSystem, the new Digital Start-up of OTP Bank is looking for a (Junior) Business Project Manager (depending on the level of experience) located in Budapest. We are looking for talented individuals with business, finance or legal background who are eager to follow a career in the e-commerce sphere. Successful candidates will work closely with the CFO & COO, CEO, and senior stakeholders of OTP Bank.

The Company OTP Ecosystem designs, develops, and operates OTP Marketplace, a state-of-the-art B2B2C curated e-commerce marketplace going live in H2 2023.

Position The (Junior) Project Manager will support the CFO & COO in managing internal business projects undertaken to achieve the strategic and operational objectives of the company.

The tasks of the (Junior) Manager will include: 

  • lead cross-functional and inter-company projects and developments,
  • work across multiple groups within the organization and OTP Group, keep everything on track, and ensure that all stakeholder needs are accommodated,
  • prepare reports, information memoranda, and presentations for management, regulatory and supervisory bodies, 
  • perform various types of research (including industry trends, market analysis, and ad hoc research projects), 
  • analyzing and presenting business plans, 
  • participating in operational and strategic meetings, assisting in the daily operation of the company, and drafting memoranda for internal, legal, and external use,
  • supporting Management in other various tasks, and 
  • managing and training junior staff.

Candidate profile    1-3 years of experience (in case of Junior Manager) and 3-5 years of experience (in case of Manager) in relevant fields such as consulting, project management, investment banking, venture building, M&A, and project finance

  • Deliberate career direction with a long-term interest in e-commerce, 
  • Ability to work with multidisciplinary teams in multiple geographic locations, 
  • Ability to manage numerous projects and relationships simultaneously, 
  • Hard-working, ambitious, well-organized, efficient, detail-oriented, and passionate about the e-commerce sector. 
  • Strong financial modeling skill and experience with complex data environment (data lake, Power BI, etc.) is a plus

Language    Proficiency in Hungarian and English is a must, other CEE language is a plus
