OTP Bank was the first credit institution in Hungary to introduce the agile organizational model, in which Tribes, Squads and Chapters replaced the former board of directors, in order to achieve shorter development period/time and greater employee satisfaction. In such a dynamically growing team, we are looking for a DevOps Engineer who will collaborate with software developers, verification and IT security engineers in designing complex and bullet-proof applications as a member of the DevOps team.

Roles and responsibilities:
•    Design, build and support automated software development (CI/CD)
•    Developing Devops pipeline, using Jenkins shared library in groovy, in object oriented approach
•    Unit testing the Jenkins library
•    Operating Jenkins instances on OpenShift
•    Implementing proof of concepts

What we required?
•    At least 2 years of hand-on experience with building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins or Azure DevOps)
•    Scripting knowledge – Bash, Shell, Python
•    Advanced level of experience with Version Control Systems such as Git
•    Experience with Containerization such as Docker
•    Experience with Container Orchestration tools such as Kubernetes
•    Understanding the concept of Infrastructure-as-Code
•    Analytical and problem-solving way of thinking
•    At least Bachelor Degree in Computer Science and/or Engineering
•    Speaking and writing in English (intermediate level)

Possible advantages experience with the followings:
•    Groovy or Java knowledge
•    Using or maintaining automated build systems such as Bitbucket, Jenkins, Nexus
•    DevSecOps Tools such as SonarQube, Dependency-Track
•    OpenShift/Kubernetes knowledge
•    Familiarity with software development lifecycle methods such as Agile
