International Retail Directorate Intern

 


 The International Retail Directorate Intern will support the team in various tasks related to international retail operations, market research, and strategy development. This internship offers a hands-on experience in a dynamic and global retail environment, providing the intern with a comprehensive understanding of international retail management. 

 

Key Responsibilities: 

 

•    Market Research and Analysis: Conduct market research on international retail trends, consumer behaviour, and competitive analysis. - Assist in compiling and analysing data to support strategic decision-making. 
•    Operational Support: Assist in the coordination and execution of international retail projects and initiatives. - Support the team in day-to-day operations, including inventory management, logistics, and supply chain activities. 
•    Strategic Planning: Help in the development and implementation of international retail strategies. - Contribute to the preparation of presentations, reports, and business proposals. 
•    Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with various departments, such as Finance, and Product Development, to ensure alignment and successful execution of projects. 
•    Administrative Tasks: Perform administrative duties as needed, including scheduling meetings, organizing files, and managing correspondence.

 

Qualifications:

 

•    Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights
•    Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
•    Experience in conducting market research and competitive analysis
•    Ability to prepare clear, concise, and well-structured reports and presentations.
•    English knowledge is a must - excellent verbal and written skills; additional language is an advantage
•    Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
•    Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and thoroughness.
•    Interest in international retail and global market dynamics
•    Ability to identify problems, analyse options, and implement effective solutions
•    Creative thinker with a proactive approach to challenges
