DevOps Engineer (agile) 

OTP Bank was the first credit institution in Hungary to introduce the agile organizational model, in which Tribes, Squads and Chapters replaced the former board of directors, in order to achieve shorter development period/time and greater employee satisfaction. In such a dynamically growing team, we are looking for a DevOps Engineer who will collaborate with software developers, verification and IT security engineers in designing complex and bullet-proof applications as a member of the DevOps team. 

Roles and responsibilities: 

• Design, build and support automated software development (CI/CD) 
• Deploy and manage Azure DevOps cloud-based infrastructure with Infrastructure as Code tools 
• Supporting Software development in Azure DevOps environments 

What we required? 

• At least 2 years of hand-on experience with building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Gitlab CI/CD) 
• Solid understanding of Software Development Life Cycle, Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery 
• Experience with Cloud technologies 
• Scripting knowledge – Bash, Shell, Python 
• Beginner level of experience with Oracle Database or Postgresql Database 
• Intermediate level of experience with Version Control Systems such as Git 
• Intermediate level of experience with Containerization such as Docker 
• Intermadiate level of experience with Container Orchestration tools such as Kubernetes 
• Understanding microservice architecture 
• Understanding the concept of Infrastructure-as-Code and experience with tools like Terraform 
• Analytical and problem-solving way of thinking 
• At least Bachelor Degree in Computer Science and/or Engineering 
• Speaking and writing in English (intermediate level) 

Possible advantages experience with the followings: 

• Using or maintaining automated build systems such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Nexus 
• DevSecOps Tools such as SonarQube, Dependency-Track, Grype 
• Knowledge of Monitoring tools like Grafana, Prometheus in a Microservice architecture 
• Cloud experience (Azure, AWS) 
• Familiarity with software development lifecycle methods such as Agile 
• Successful implementation of GitOps principals in production environment
