OTP Bank Nyrt. is looking for a new DevOps Engineer

OTP Bank was the first credit institution in Hungary to introduce the agile organizational model, in which Tribes, Squads and Chapters replaced the former board of directors, in order to achieve shorter development period/time and greater employee satisfaction. In such a dynamically growing team, we are looking for a DevOps Engineer who will collaborate with software developers, verification and IT security engineers in designing complex and bullet-proof applications as a member of the DevOps team.

We count on you in these tasks:

• Design, build and support automated software development (CI/CD)
• Deploy and manage Azure DevOps cloud-based infrastructure with Infrastructure as Code tools
• Supporting Software development in Azure DevOps environments
• Support our transition to public and private cloud-centric environment
• Finding new solutions, implementing proof of concepts
• Educating teams on the implementation of new cloud technologies and initiatives
• Coach and train junior team members
• Support operations team's escalated requests

You are welcome to apply if you have

• at least 4 years of hands-on experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins or Azure DevOps)
• a solid understanding of the software development life cycle, continuous integration, and continuous delivery
• experience with cloud technologies
• scripting knowledge in Bash, Shell, or Python
• advanced experience with version control systems such as Git
• advanced experience with containerization technologies such as Docker
• advanced experience with container orchestration tools such as Kubernetes
• an understanding of microservice architecture
• familiar with the concept of infrastructure-as-code and have experience with tools like Terraform
• an analytical and problem-solving mindset
• at least a bachelor’s degree in computer science and/or engineering
• intermediate English language skills, both written and spoken

You start with advantage if you have

• Groovy or Java knowledge
• Scripting experience with Powershell
• Using or maintaining automated build systems such as Bitbucket, Jenkins, Nexus
• DevSecOps Tools such as SonarQube, Dependency-Track
• OpenShift knowledge
• Knowledge of Monitoring tools like Grafana, Prometheus in a Microservice architecture
• Cloud experience (Azure DevOps, AWS)
• Familiarity with software development lifecycle methods such as Agile.
