Cloud Architect (Azure) expert

To develop further the corporate lending processes of OTP Group (12 countries) and to strengthen its digital strategy, OTP Bank is introducing a new workflow management system among its international group members, that promotes the harmonization and modernization of the lending processes, better decision making and improved transparency across OTP's foreign subsidiaries.

To complete this task, we are looking for an English-speaking Cloud Architect expert who is open to learning and using new technologies, and who wants to participate in new system implementations internationally, as part of a diverse team.

This is a unique opportunity for applicants who want to work and develop themselves professionally in the field of IT at the headquarters of a banking group in Hungary.

Assignments/Tasks:
•    plan the deployment of the new corporate lending system to be introduced in the cloud in accordance with the banking group's cloud strategy, in cooperation with the banking group's architect experts, including analysis and design of infrastructure, network and applications
•    understand customer requirements and business challenges, match them to Microsoft Azure-based solutions
•    identify the best cloud technologies and tools for the project taking into account the banking group's capabilities and cloud strategy
•    expert-level participation in tendering for cloud service providers
•    design and maintenance of distributed and scalable architecture of Azure services and applications
•    consulting on security- and data protection matters during the design and implementation of Azure-based solutions
•    support of local supervisory (externalization) approval processes for the cloud solution at the bank group's foreign subsidiaries as a cloud expert
•    participation in the design of the operational support model and in the long-term cost planning for the cloud operation
•    continuous contact with the client, monitoring of business needs and challenges
•    collaboration with developers and IT teams to test and maintain Azure-based infrastructure and applications
•    design, install and maintain containerized applications
•    use Azure DevOps to automate CI/CD processes and ensure code quality

We are looking for an applicant with:
•    specialized (IT) degree or equivalent professional experience
•    3-5+ years of experience in planning, developing, testing and optionally quality assurance of cloud infrastructures and solutions
•    experience in the design and supervision of landing zones, both in single- and multitenant environments
•    knowledge of automation, DevOps, infrastructure-as-code
•    compliance and IT security knowledge
•    extensive knowledge of cloud-land integration technologies
•    experience in implementing data-driven solutions from/to cloud solutions
•    excellent problem solving and data modeling skills
•    excellent communication and presentation skills
•    confident theoretical knowledge
•    team player
•    the job is based in Budapest, but the applicant should be willing to travel abroad if required
