Business/System Analyst (Lending Domain)

To develop further the corporate lending processes of OTP Group (12 countries) and to strengthen its digital strategy, OTP Bank is introducing a new lending workflow management system among its international group members, that promotes the harmonization and modernization of the lending processes, better decision making and improved transparency across OTP's foreign subsidiaries.

To complete this task, we are looking for an experienced English-speaking System Analyst who is open to learning and using new technologies and who wants to participate in new system implementations as part of a diverse international team.

This is a unique opportunity for applicants with the ambition to work and develop professionally in the field of IT in the headquarters of a banking group in Hungary.

 

Assignments/Tasks:
•    Main tasks:
o    analyze business- and risk requirements for the new lending workflow system, create the design of business processes and workflows
o    identify dependencies with ongoing other business process design initiatives and with related ongoing other projects
o    active participation in the assessment of existing corporate lending processes and the planning of future operations in cooperation with OTP’s business and risk experts 
o    measure, optimize and improve existing loan origination processes across the OTP Group, design the ways of monitoring the new processes
o    identify and mitigate business risks associated with process standardizations and improvements
o    prepare detailed functional-, and occasionally technical specifications and process descriptions for the new workflow system towards the system analysts or developers, break down the requirements into usecases
o    collaboration with data hosts, use of group-level business data dictionary
o    keep professional contact with business analysts of the involved international external suppliers.
•    provide support for:
o    the elaboration product strategy plan for the new workflow system across OTP subsidiaries and participate in the creation of the IT implementation roadmap for the same
o    the creation of functional- and business acceptance testcases and the execution of the business tests
o    the creation of the target operating model of the new workflow system from business perspective
o   support system analysts in designing the configuration tasks for the given workflow system and in structuring the configuration settings into a technical specification for end-users

 

We are looking for an applicant with:
•    bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Information Technology or related field
•    5+ years’ experience as Business Analyst or 3+ years as Business architect
•    experience analyzing and documenting business processes and workflows
•    understanding of business process management methodologies

•    excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
•    ability to see the ’big picture’
•    confident written and spoken command of English as a professional language
•    good communication and cooperation skills, patience, empathy
•    proactive, creative, punctual, responsible
•    ability to learn quickly
•    user level knowledge of MS Office programs
•    strong time management and organizational skills

 

It is further advantage if the applicant has: 
•    system analyst skills, experience with designing system specifications and usecases
•    experience working with and guiding development teams
•    understanding of system development lifecycle processes
•    advanced MS SQL user skills
