Distributed Platform Ops Engineer (agile)

OTP Bank was the first credit institution in Hungary to introduce the agile organizational model, in which Tribes, Squads and Chapters replaced the former board of directors, in order to achieve shorter development period/time and greater employee satisfaction. 
Data Services Technical Tribe is looking for a Distributed Platform Ops Engineer who will collaborate with software developers, security engineers, suppliers in supporting complex, distributed banking systems as a member of the team.

Primary roles and responsibilities:
•    Supporting Apache Airflow platform
•    Configuring Airflow projects

Opportunities to be involved:
•    Distributed data platform operations
•    Cloud data platform operations

What we require?
•    At least Bachelor’s Degree in computer science and/or Engineering
•    Linux administration basics
•    Intermediate English knowledge

Advantages:

Experience with:

• containerization such as docker
• container orchestration tools such as kubernetes and helm
• network debugging, troubleshooting
• monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Azure LogAnalytics

Knowledge in:

• infrastructure coding language
• secret and config management

•    Familiarity with public cloud providers – preferably Azure
